Marine Propulsion Hydromaster steerable marine propulsion units within the 50 to 150 Bhp range are powered by a diesel engine driving a bronze propeller through a marine reverse gear and Hydromaster transmission. Each unit incorporates either a water or air cooling diesel engine, electric start, dry type silencer, instrument panel and fuel tank all totally enclosed within a sheet metal canopy with dry type air cleaner and controls mounted externally. The complete assembly is mounted upon a fabricated steel chassis to form a self-contained propulsion unit for on deck installation by simple four bolt fixing. Full propeller reaction through 360 degree continuous in either direction by stem rotation, direct mechanical steering wheel or by electro-hydraulic steering joystick from wheelhouse console. |
