When requirements call for a custom-designed shipboard boxcooler, a WEKA unit is the perfect solution. Units can be manufactured to cool main and auxiliary engines for both seagoing and inland waterway vessels, moored ships and dredges. Each unit is designed for a specific need within the space available for installation.

The WEKA Units, installed in the ship's sea-chest, operates on the thermosyphon principle whereby the warm coil makes the outside water circulate, this eliminating the need for any outboard water cooling system. For a ship at anchor, the full capacity of a diesel engine can be cooled. For propulsion engines, the corresponding cooling surface is individually calculated.
